The Serta Master Bed is firm and lofty with allergen-free pillows, pillow covers and Cotton Bedding. Leather Sofas in the Living Room and Two Rocker-Recliners add comfort for TV watching or reading. There is high-speed internet and Wi-Fi. Gorgeous Countertops are in the Kitchen and the new Pine Cabinets are filled with bakeware and serving ware. We have air conditioning for the times when the mountain air isn't enough.

Birds and wildlife visit the Casita and the property regularly so you'll see lots of hummingbirds, goldfinches, spotted towhees, white-breasted nuthatches, juniper titmice, ravens and lately a kestrel, when the ravens don't chase it away! We've just added an owl box and a bat box to the property! The javelina come through about every other night, plus we've seen a coyote and raccoons.
We are located 1.6 miles from downtown in a neighborhood down a long lane on 1.25 acres. There is a meadow and Miller Creek, when it is running. Fry's grocery store is a couple blocks away. We are licensed, inspected and compliant with the City. We have fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors and a first aid kit. Prescott has a Noise Ordinance from 10pm to 8am. We do not allow parties or events. Pets are allowed with permission, a signed Pet Agreement and a Pet Fee.

It's best to take Sheldon street or Gurley St through town. Your GPS may take you around Fain Rd or the outer belt if you're coming from the south or east. Don't do it. Stay on Sheldon or Gurley. Your GPS may take you to the dentist's office on the far side of our property. Don't go there unless you need a root canal.🦷
Our gravel lane and tan stucco wall are directly across the street from a grey Medical office building.
On The day of arrival just text us about 30 minutes before you arrive. We'll meet you, set up your door code and show you a few things. Thanks!
Prescott Hideaway is located at 727 GAIL GARDNER WAY. It's almost on the corner of Gail Gardner and Fair St. Our gravel lane is between 2 white lampposts. There are large Elms and a tan stucco wall across the front entrance. We have a Prescott Hideaway sign, address number and Welcome sign. Turn down the gravel lane. Welcome!

Casita
Owners know how to prepare for their guests! The place has lots of "newness", is very clean with new/nice furnishings and lots of "extras." Location is very convenient. Owners provided lots of information on the local area and things to do during our stay. Although we didn't have to call on them, it was nice to know they were close by and so willing to come over if we needed help with anything. Dave even came over one morning to shovel snow and clean the snow off our car windows....went the "extra" mile for these Californians who never deal with snow.

Dave and Karen did an amazing job on their property. Dave is very attentive to your needs and a very pleasant person. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay and then some. The layout and decor were very nice and comfortable. Everything was pretty much brand new and perfectly placed. My three kids loved the acreage. Roaming in the dry creek for bugs and souvenirs. The property is walking distance to the Fry’s grocery store and a cute coffee house. We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to be back!!

This property is such a rare, great find! The owners, Dave and Karen, went above and beyond in SO many details, and it's clear they find joy in making their guests feel right at home. The kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, laundry room, and living room have everything you could possibly need (including a welcome gift and snacks!) It felt like there was a treat beyond every corner, both inside and outside. The casita is more spacious than I was expecting and feels more like your own home than it does a rental. The kitchen is stocked with new pots and pans, and the towels are also new and nice. There are two air conditioning units that work great and have remotes. Quality curtains on every window. The beds are comfortable with several pillow options and high quality bedding. Great selection of couches and pillows in the living room. I found myself wanting to duplicate their choices in my own home! The outside is like a garden oasis with private seating areas, water feature, bird feeders, cute little driveway, and so much care and attention paid to all of the plants. The casita is close to several walking paths, and they provide brochures and information for all kinds of activities in Prescott. The owners are kind, responsive, and people I would welcome into my own home. I've stayed in rentals before, and it's rare that owners go this far above and beyond in the quality of their selections. Highly recommend and wish I could have stayed there longer!!
Wonderful property and great owners!
We were looking for a weekend away to beat the heat in Phoenix, and we stumbled upon this gem! The casita is quaint and had everything we could possibly need. The grounds of the property were just what we needed with a nice patio and a calming common area. Karen and Dave were very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again soon!
