It's best to take Sheldon street or Gurley St through town. Your GPS may take you around Fain Rd or the outer belt if you're coming from the south or east. Don't do it. Stay on Sheldon or Gurley. Stay on Willow Creek Rd. If you're coming from the North or west. Your GPS may take you to the dentist's office on the far side of our property. Don't go there unless you need a root canal.🦷

"From start to finish, this VRBO experience was top-notch! The hosts were absolutely amazing—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful in every way. Communication was seamless, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The property itself was spotless, cozy, and incredibly inviting. The location couldn’t have been better—peaceful and tucked away, yet still close to everything I needed. The grounds were simply stunning, with beautiful landscaping and a magical little wooded area that felt like a hidden retreat with a lovely hammock to rest and relax in. The outdoor patio and grill were a major highlight. It was the perfect setup for enjoying meals outside and unwinding in the evening. One of the sweetest surprises was how welcoming the hosts were to my cat. Not only were they completely accommodating, but they even left a little cat toy for him—such a thoughtful touch that made me feel truly at home. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I will definitely be back!"

"We were delighted with the cottage for our 7 day stay in Sept. The description in the listing lives up to everything we found while there. Obvious quality in everything from furniture, linens, décor, and grounds. You can tell Dave has experience as a bldg contractor! Grounds are well lit at night and shaded by day. Creek is nice but seasonal. Easy access to downtown Prescott. Frys grocery close by. Cabin is well insulated from street noise and even the Yavapai County Fair nearby did not distrub us. Great hosts. Great value. Pet friendly. Already reserved our next trip!"
Cozy and well-appointed
Great hosts! Very nice kitchen. Comfortable and nicely done. They have taken a lot of care in setting up the property. We had a great stay and will be happy to stay there again.
Perfect in every way!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Prescott. Karen and Dave were gracious, considerate hosts who made us feel right at home. Not only was cottage was immaculate and stocked with everything you could possible need, there were two useful notebooks filled with trail maps and local information. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
Fabulous
The Hideaway was absolutely perfect! Clean, tastefully decorated, every possible amenity was provided for us. Lots of places to relax, both inside and out. Great location -- close to town and to great hiking trails. One of the very best VRBOs we have experienced. We will definitely return.
LOVED IT!!
Our little family loved this place! Owners were amazing and extremely hospitable. The property is tucked away, by a creek and was the perfect getaway from the city. We ate outdoors for almost every meal because there are places to sit all over the property. We honestly didn’t leave much while we were there because we didn’t have too. This cottage had a white fence around it which was perfect for our little’s not escaping and going to far. The owners have an awesome binder filled with places to hike, eat, and attractions. Which was nice for us since we had never been there before. We would absolutely stay here again!!
Quiet, Peaceful, Serene Hideaway Melts Away Stress!
It was no accident that our arrival to Dave and Karen's home was absolutely perfect! We were met by Dave who made sure everything was working and we were comfortable and happy before he left. The home was immaculate and every detail was put in place for our enjoyment. I have stayed at HomeAway cottages before, but not one owner was as accommodating as Dave and Karen. Beautiful soft blankets were conveniently placed for cooler nights to wrap up and listen to peaceful night sounds. Early morning coffee was enjoyed in the patio where many different birds darted about. Beds were comfy and pillows included ergonomic choices as well! Everything we could enjoy in Prescott was carefully put together in a wonderful book with maps, and even menus!! Nothing was missing in this lovely stay! Don't miss this one - it is the best Prescott has to offer! You will want to return again and again. P.S. The fish puzzle is the most challenging (and beautiful) 1000 piece puzzle I have ever attempted - will need to return to finish next time. Charming cottage
My wife and I recently spent three nights at this charming, recently renovated cottage situated on a lovely piece of property recessed from the main road. The home is small, about 800 ft.², but has two bedrooms and is laid out in a way that makes it feel more spacious. A patio fronted by a well tended garden surrounded by picket fence adds to its appeal. The property is located about 2 miles from Courthouse Square in downtown Prescott, an easy drive or walk if one is so inclined. The owners, Dave and Karen, were most amiable and always accessible during our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, beds comfortable and flatscreen TV top quality. Supermarket/pharmacy and a few restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a very pleasant stay for us.
